1977 RD400 For Sale – UPDATE: Not for Sale

update to the tragic regret i would have never gotten over had i sold this bike…she’s got a new look and running great.

This might be something I’ll regret for the rest of my life, but circumstances are such that I’m selling a pristine 1977 RD400. I don’t want to sell it so I’m asking top dollar. the thing’s in such good condition that modifications hardly make sense and I don’t prefer stock bikes. This one’s prime for a full-restoration to showroom condition. There’s only 7,880 miles on it and it’s been garage kept. All the rubber and paint is excellent, mechanically sound, and besides taking the two-stroke soot clogged packing off the baffles it’s relatively untouched.
